Proboscis fully developed ; palpi obliquely porrect, extending well beyond frons, the 2nd joint fringed with hair below, the 3rd moderate; frons with I'ounded prominence; eyes large, rounded; antennae of male ciliated ; head and thorax smoothly clothed with hair ; fore tibife with a long curved claw and two spines on inner side and four claws on outer; mid and hind tibiis spined. Fore wing with vein 3 from before angle of cell, 5 from above angle; 6 from upper angle; 9 from 10 anastomosing with 8 to form the areole; 11 from cell.
