The successful 'stackpipe' BRM P578 (V8) Goodwood Festival of Speed, 12th July 2002. This model set the BRM on the way to not only a much much needed Grand Prix win in F1, as without it, the team would have folded, but on to the World Championship. Unlike most British F1 teams, BRM manufactured their own cars and the V8 was so successful, that many were sold to other teams F1 plus sports car manufacturers, including Willment, Brabham, Felday etc., either in 1500cc form or later, 2 litre versions.
