Chicago Market—Very popular, early, good quality, and yields well. White Star —Medium, early, a very large cropper, fine, floury texture and de- licious flavor. White Elephant—Late, large, enormous- ly productive, splendid keeping qualities. Early Rose—The leading variety for earliness and productiveness. Early Beauty of Hebron—Ripens with the Early Rose and equally valuable as a market variety. Clark's No. I—Closely resembles the Early Rose, cooks mealy, excellent flavor. Peerless—A good variety for general culture, very productive. Burbank's—A White-skinned medium early variety, flesh of fine grain and excellent flavor. Potatoes. We can fill orders for nearly all standard varieties not catalogued here. On large lots will make special prices. Correspondence solicited, stating quantity required. FREEMAN POTATO. The great merits of this variety are its extreme earliness and long keeping qualities. It is also a first-class yielder, frequently producing six to nine pounds from a single hill. The tubers are oval in shape, russet in color; flesh very white, both raw and when cooked; fine grained and of the very best flavor. From the time they are as large as hen's eggs until new potatoes come in the next year they burst open when boiled and appear snow- white and floury. Price, 75 cents peck ; $ per bushel; $ per barrel. The Freeman Potato bought of you last season, I think is the best Potato ever produced. The quality excellent, dry, mealy and fine flavored. From 1 lb. seed raised nearly 100 pounds ; consider this a remarkable yield on account of dry season. Will plant my entire crop this year. Dec. 9, 1893. ABE
