Heavy snowfall and strong winds are going to hit London on Thursday, wreaking havoc across the capital. After a relatively mild day on Wednesday, temperatures are going to plummet overnight – with people waking up to much colder temperatures on Thursday morning. The Met Office has even put in ‘yellow’ severe weather warnings for the whole of southern England and Wales, west and north Wales, Northern Ireland and most of Scotland. Forecasters are warning of extremely heavy rain, strong winds and snow, with ice and snow-related disruption expected across the capital and south east England.
