Detail of bronze statue of Isambard Kingdom Brunel at Neyland, Pembrokeshire, . It was the last work of sculptor Robert Thomas.


This a photograph of the original statue,which was unveiled by The Prince of Wales on 23 July 1999. It was stolen in August 2010 and replaced with a replica - recast using the original mould used by sculptor Robert Thomas of Barry -on 13th April 1913. The replica was unveiled by Neyland’s Mayor, Clr. Maureen Molyneux, who was Mayoress at the time of the original unveiling.
