McDonald, attached to the 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19), fires an M16 rifle downrange at Combined Arms Training Center, Camp Fuji. USS Blue Ridge Sailors are required to qualify on the M16 rifle and M500 shotgun prior to standing armed watches with either weapon.
