By 176 Spring of riveting stake. means of these rods any sag in the doors can be takenup by adjusting these nuts. The riveter stake and also the frame deflect underthe load, the amount of this deflection depending uponthe size and capacity of the machine. It is apt to be asmuch as ^ of an inch for either the stake or frame. Forthis reason the platform should not be fastened to thestake, but to a permanent structure.
