Tube anemone. Cerianthus sp. tube anemone on the sea-bed. Tube, or cylinder, anemones are anthozoans that look very similar to sea anemones, but belong to a different subclass. They inhabit soft sediments in tubes made of secreted mucous, which they live in and can withdraw into for protection. Photographed off Rinca island, Komodo National Park, Indonesia.
