An Illyrian helmet, 6th/5th century BC Bronze with distinct greenish patina. One-piece skull, the crest base offset by two distinct ridges at the sides. Rectangular face opening, the pointed cheek-pieces each with one perforation for the chin strap. Slightly flared, narrow neck guard. Robust helmet of good, metallic material. Restored with small replacements. Height 22 cm.
