Swaidner was reared in AllenCounty and remained on his fathers farmuntil he was seventeen years of age, whenhe attended the township high nineteen years old he began toteach, during the first year in DeKalbCounty, and for six years more in AllenCounty, Indiana. Mr. Swaidner completedMs education at Adrain College, Adrain,Michigan, and it was during his collegelife that he met the lady who subsequentlybecame his wife, she being a student of thecollege at the same time.
