TROMSØ, NORWAY: POWERFUL images of a 40-TONNE sea-beast performing a barrel-roll through the air have been captured by a marine researcher. The humpback whale, which was the weight of a large lorry, leapt up and performed a feat of amazing air acrobatics before returning to the water rewarding itself with a nice swim and a herring lunch. Norwegian Researcher and Biologist Karl-Otto Jacobsen (49) was at the ready to snap this jaw-dropping scene which lasted only a few moments.
