This new strain is even earlier than the common variety. while the Squashes grow to an extra large size, measuring from 18 inches to 2 feet long, and of finest quality. FORDHOOK. One of the earliest winter Squashes. A good yielder and an excellent keeper. PIKE'S PEAK, or SIBLEY. Shell smooth, thin, pale green; flesh thick, solid, deep orange, very dry. BOSTON MARROW. About 10 days later than the Bush sorts; a good keeper and of fine flavor. THE FAXON. A new variety of medium size; very early and productive; flesh orange color and of excellent quality. Matures early enough for summer use, and a splendid winter sort. NEW GOLDEN HUBBARD. This is a very distinct sort of the shape and general character of the Hubbard but a little smaller; earlier to mature and of rich orange-red color, instead of the. quoted: Pkt. 5 cts., oz. 7 cts., H lb. 12 lb. 35 cts., expense of purchaser, deduct 8 cents per pound. dark olive green of the old Hubbard.
