Mongolia: Orug Temur, aka Gulichi, khagan of the Northern Yuan Dynasty (), 20th century. Also known as Ugechi Khashikha/Ugch Hashha Khan, he seized the throne in 1403, the black sheep year. He was leader of the Oirats, of the Torguud/Torghud clan, and may have been a descendant of Ogedei Khan. He abolished the name of the Yuan Dynasty in an attempt to appease the Ming Dynasty of China, an act which enraged many of the Mongol clans. Orug was defeated by Oljei Temur Khan in 1403, and he was killed in 1408, the yellow rat year.
