Black pressure group BARAC (Black Activists Rising Against Cuts) held a march from the US embassy in London to Downing Street. With the theme "I am Trayvon Martin", several hundred mainly black activists attended the event which also was intended to highlight "Global Racism and Injustice in solidarity with the families of Trayvon Martin Stephen Lawrence, Azelle Rodney, Jimmy Mubenga and many others to highlight the reality of racism and seeking justice, both here in the UK and the US".
