Dr. Diehl pointed out the fact thatwhile scholarship in a very worthyaim it is not the only aim that stu-dents with a well rounded life musthave. Scholarship with service is theaim of the society and it is the aimwhich the speaker said would giveone earthly immortality and com-plete happiness. Dr. Diehl is himself such a scholaras he described as the ideal and histalk was an inspiration to his DR. J. L. JARMAN when hefirst took over the office aspresident of the College. PI KAPPA OMEGA HAS BANQUET Polly Riddle, Mildred Lohr, CorneliaDickinson, Katherine Hatch, MabelGrossclose, Elva Hedly De La Barre,and Rosalind Harrell returned for thePi Kappa Omega Founders Day ban-quet held in the Tea Room Fridaynight. The banquet room was unusuallybeautiful, colors of the society beingcarried out in the bowls of roses androse tapers in silver candle stickswhich composed the decorations. The favors were shoulder corsagesof roses and sweet peas which addedanother note of color to the occasion.
