Studiedlaw and was admitted to the bar in 1813 and practiced inPalmer, where he had removed. In 1846 or 1847, hereturned to Springfield. He was noted for his wit. Un-married. He died March 10, 1850, in the 63d year of hisage. Christopher Stebbins was born December 16, was drowned July 23, 1793, but brought to life again bythe providence of God. Caroline Stebbins, born June 12, 1793, was the onlydaughter of Zebina and Mary Stebbins. She married aMr. Lawrence of Monroe, Michigan. In 1834 she made avisit to her parents in Springfield ; on her return to Monroe,she was taken with the cholera, and died August 20, 1834,aged 41 years. William Stebbins was born March 18, 1795. He wasa carpenter by trade, and went to Rochester, N. Y. Wasmarried. Children : three sons and one daughter. Hereturned to Springfield in 1857. His first wife dying, in1858 he married Miss Elvira A. Cam
