Very broad blade, with three fullers on each side and the crowned cipher "AR" on one side of the ricasso and the maker's inscription for Alex Coppel, Solingen as well as the inscription, "Eisenhauer garantirt" on the other. Original, partially openwork, IOD Model 1867 brass knucklebow hilt with some fire gilding preserved and with folding guards. Sharkskin-covered grip with fine brass wire winding.
