That while we bowin humble submission to the willof our Alwise Father, that wetender the deepest sympathy tothe bereaved parents and brothersand sisters, who most keenly feelthe loss that has so deeply sad-ened our Sunday-school and praythat Gods presence may cheerand comfort them that are follow-ers of Him, and may those of thefamily as well as of the Sunday-school, who are not children of. God, be moved to accept Him astheir Savior. 2nd. That we thank and praiseGod for the hope of one day hav-ing the privilege of meeting ourdear friend with others of ourSunday-school, who have crossedthe river and are resting under theshade, with the redeemed of God. 3rd. That we all try to livenear our God that we may havethe full assurance of one daymeeting around Gods brightthrone in heaven with the onewhose memery we this day me-morialize ,and with each other. 4th. That a copy of these reso-lutions be spread on the Sunday-school record and a copy be ten-dered the bereaved family and acopy be sent the N. C. ChristianAdvocate for publication.
