Hebe de Bonafini, historic leader of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo and human rights activist accompanying former President Cristina Fernandez, at the time still in office, during a speech at the ESMA, one of the most infamous detention and torture centers during the 1976/83 dictatorship. Hebe de Bonafini died on Nov 20, 2022, aged 93 at the Hospital Italiano in La Plata, Buenos Aires.
