With this kind of dry room a temperatureof 90 degrees would be better but, of course, the lengthof time to dry would be much longer. The panels might have been piled on edge so thatthe air currents would pass through them but, thiswould also result in warping as the lower edge woulddry first and those at the bottom of the kiln wouldreceive a more rapid drying than those above them.
