Residents and a Department of Highways worker help clear debris from a drain after flash floods caused by continuous rainfall. The flooding in Chiang Mai were caused by continuous rainfall, electronics shop, resulting in runoff from Doi Suthep flowing into low-lying areas. The heavy rain also caused the Ping River to overflow at several points in the city, damaging homes and causing traffic congestion on many roads.
