Mr. Leonard A. Busby, general counsel for the Chicago(111.) City Railway, has been elected president of the com-pany to succeed Mr. T. E. Mitten, whose resignation willtake effect on Dec. 31, as previously noted in the ElectricRailway Journal. Mr. Busby is a member of the law firmof Shope, Zane, Busby & Weber. He was appointed coun-sel for the Calumet & South Chicago Railway in 1905, andwhen that property was taken over by the Chicago CityRailway he was made counsel for the Chicago City
