On the 9th July 2014, the then Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon had called for a halt to the violence between Israelis and Palestinians, seven-years later the violence still continues, the wall still meanders through Palestinian occupied lands and still Palestinians human rights are virtually none existent. Israel still ignores all UN resolutions as it occupies more land to expand its own territory. Today’s demonstration, albeit small in number is under the shadow of four Monolith’s, a monument to Israel unfortunate past, a past that some today mirror to that of occupied Palestine. © Charles M Vella/Alamy Live News
