Weighing stations like this is a small part of chain in the Rubber processing/manufacturing . Each family along this road where doing a little on each of the stages from small units with homes at the back of the shop . Previous place to this was the Rolling in hand washing machine rollers to roll the raw rubber into flat sheets as seen here. Then the drying from another unit.
