Famous fountains of Peterhof are a grand decoration in baroque style, that creates a magnificent view in front of the palace. The composition consists of two cascades, placed on both sides of the Big grot and ends with a famous fountain called Samson. The decorated by fountains channel leads from the park to the sea. Samson the strongman easily breaks the lions jaw and the water streams come out of it. Countless noisy water waves run down the cascades. Vases and statues are the artwork of Rastrelli the Senior, Pino, Martos, Prokofiev, Koslovskiy, Schedrin and etc.
