Electric car motor. This car, the electric Fiat Fiorino, was developed by Micro-Vett and is distributed by Newteon. The electric motor, which gets its power from a controller, is seen in place of a normal petrol engine. The car can travel up to 100 kilometres (in one charge) and reach a top speed of 90 kilometres per hour. Electric cars may be increasingly important in the future as the world's oil reserves become depleted.
