USA - HAWAII: Sunset at Haleiwa Beach on Oahu
Just north of Haleiwa town along the Kamehameha Highway is Haleiwa Beach Park. This wide north shore beach is situated so that it gets incredible views of both the sunrise and sunset, and is perfect for lounging in the sun or swimming in the ocean. You can also find other recreational activities near Haleiwa, such as horseback riding, biking, snorkeling and kayaking. Nearby points of interest includes Kaena Point and the Hauula Loop Trail. Haleiwa offers visitors a private retreat off the beaten path, yet you are just 45 minutes from the heart of Waikiki.
