La Antigua Casa de la Inquisicion, the old House of the Inquisition, in Calle Baja Iglesia, Alhama de Granada, Granada Province, Andalusia, Spain. In spite of its name the house was never used by the Inquisition. The original late Gothic style house dating from the 15th century, was all but destroyed in the earthquake of 1884 which killed over 1200 people and destroyed more than 4000 buildings in the Malaga-Granada area. The house was restored to its current state in the 1960's.
