London, UK, Monday 10th September 2012. Sophie Christiansen celebrates TeamGB's success on a procession of floats through central London, as part of the London 2012 Team GB Athletes Victory Parade. The 2012 London Olympic games, comprising of 26 sports set at 34 venues with over 10,000 athletes competing, and the Paralympic games, comprising of 20 sports set at 20 venues with over 4,000 athletes competing, came to a close this weekend. Team GB won a total of 65 medals, including 29 gold, in the Olympics and 120, including 34 gold, in the Paralympics, making it one of the most successful games in the team's history.
