A Mongolian/Chinese ceremonial sword, 19th/20th century, Straight, double-edged blade. Gilt copper hand-guard decorated with two three-dimensional chi dragons. Silver grip, engraved and gilt with cranes at centre, chiselled pommel of brown-green jade. Elaborately crafted scabbard of sheet silver with gilt copper mounts, also decorated with three-dimensional, intertwined chi dragons. Locket and chape featuring cranes and a terminal of cut jade, all pieces set with turquoises and corals (partially missing).
