A reliable second early, which matures about ten days after Jersey Wakefield. It makes a large, solid, flattish head, with short outer leaves, which admit of close planting, and is a good keeper. The largest heading of the second early sorts, remarkably solid, and with- stands hot, dry weather. It may also be planted for fall and winter use, as it is a good keeper. The finest strain of Late Flat Dutch Cabbage on the market. The heads are flat and grow remarkably large, even, and very solid. Stems short, and the quality of the Cabbage is very fine.
