A Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet aircraft is refueled by a Air Force KC-135R Stratotanker aircraft, assigned to the 340th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, during a mission in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel in the Central Command area of responsibility, Aug. 6, 2021. The 340th EARS, deployed with Air Forces Central, is responsible for delivering fuel to and partner nations, enabling airpower, deterrence, and stability in the region.
