A variety introduced betwen 1880 and 1890, ptobably raised from the Orange grows to a larger size than the Orange, and ripens later. Season about the 20th This variety usually ripens well in Southern Ontario, but would be too late farther it succeeds it is of more value for market than the Orange, on account of its largesize, and freedom from blemishes.
