(Sept. 5, 2022) A Navy officer, assigned to the “Red Rippers” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 11, reunites with his wife during a homecoming onboard Naval Air Station Oceana. VFA 11, attached to Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1, completed a nine-month deployment onboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group in support of naval operations to maintain maritime stability and securityt.
