Sgt. 1st Cl. Morris Fineberg captured a photograph of a granite tablet in Montsec, Meuse, France during World War One. The tablet bears a German saying that translates to "We Germans fear God but nothing else in the world." The photo was taken on December 2, 1918, and passed the censor.
