Paper Whites, etc., take the place of roses for funeral work. Various Notes. F. Rosaia, of Seattle, Wash., is spend- ing a few days in this city and is rest- ing up after his Christmas rush; he is calling on many of the florists. Carl Mueller, of Hillsboro, is sending in some fine Spencer sweet peas from his place. Clarke Bros, are showing some fine Golden Spur in pots and cut. This is of good quality and is bringing a good price. C. P. Keyser, superintendent of parks, left Friday, January 6, for Spokane, to attend the meeting of the Pacific, Bocky Mountain, Northwestern Tourist Camp Association, January 7.
