The common "blued" wire nail is not a proper nail for fastening shingles. Nails of this type rust quickly, with the result that the life of the covering of your building is shortened by years. Their use where subject to climatic and weather con- ditions is strongly recommended. British Columbia Red Cedar Shingles defy rot or decay.
