16th century medieval stone bridge on the Arlanza river of the historic village of Lerma, Burgos, Castilla y Leon, Spain, Europe


This bridge is located next to the old highway Madrid-Burgos. It was built on the river Arlanza in the sixteenth century stone bridge is a pedestrian, rather long, with eight or ten arches reinforced by buttresses. It was made by Juan Alvarado River, stonemason Vote. Along with this bridge, the Duke of Lerma had his private hunting ground, surrounded by gardens.
