I noticed this fat, juicy caterpillar on my lawn after I finished passing the lawnmower. I picked it up with a leaf to put it in the woods, and noticed the incredible detail in its face. I snapped a couple of macro shots of this tiny creature, and it almost seemed to be smiling at me. You can really see the tiny suction cups on its feet, its head resembled that of a balding older man. When you get this close to such a tiny animal, it is easy to project emotion.
