Nose and eye surgery. Image 4 of 5. 54-year-old woman wearing a nose splint (white) two days after nose and eye surgery (septorhinoplasty and augmentation, respectively). The septum in the nose was removed, making it easier to breathe, and a bump on the bridge of the nose was also removed. Fat from the patient's stomach was injected around the left eye to replace fat cells destroyed by radiotherapy for peri-orbital cancer. See M590/299-303, for a sequence showing nose and eye surgery.
