Little five-year-old twins Isaac and Florence Atkin were pictured tiptoeing through the tulips as the colourful flowers start to bloom. The stunning photos look as though they have been taken in the Netherlands but in fact they show BritainÕs last remaining bulbfields bursting into colour. The pictures, show an incredible kaleidoscope of colourful blooms, which look like they belong in the heart of Holland but the field is actually near KingÕs Lynn in Norfolk. The pink, yellow, red, white and purple flowers have been brightening up the countryside at family-run Belmont Nurseries, which grows 130 acres of tulips. Janet and Peter Ward, who run Belmont Nurseries, have been growing tulips for more than 20 years and supply more than 25 million stems to supermarkets each year. They grow 37 different varieties and introduce new ones each year. This year the farm, whose day-to-day operations are under the management of Mark Eves, is opening one of its tulip fields to the public to raise money for The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, as a way of giving something back after Peter Ward recovered from cancer.
