Hollar's panorama of London. 17th-century artwork forming part of a panorama of the city of London drawn by Bohemian artist Wenceslaus Hollar (1607-1677). Known as 'The Long View of London from Bankside', the north-facing panorama stretches from Whitehall in the west to St Katherine's by the Tower of London in the east. This portion (sheet IV of the panorama) shows the area from Bow Church to St Peter's, with Southwark on the south bank, and the title 'London'. This copy of the labelled 1647 original was published as six pages in 1907 by the London Topographical Society. For all seven sheets, see C016/9904 to C016/9909.
