Y. 187 Under the 21 -Bonanza-Joker ore-body, the gabbro-gneisshas been cut by drill cores, and that of hole 44 B, at 310 feet, hasbeen examined microscopically. It is the usual aggregate ofhornblende and plagioclase. So far as the drill records show, itextends without break to a 9-foot bed of ore, which was met inthis hole somewhat more than 100 feet below the 21 ore-body, shown in Section No. 13, Plate V. The foot-wall ofthe 9-foot bed is the normal 21 microperthitic gneiss. The geological relations at Fisher Hill and Burt Lot aremore complex, although, broadly speaking, they are much thesame. As shown on the map, Plate XL, the Orchard gneissappears in the eastern pits of Fisher Hill and forms both No. 9 a very considerabl
