Wendover, UK. 26th September, 2023. HS2 have destroyed part of the Rennie Grove Wendover Memorial Woodland in Wendover, Buckinghamshire. Back in November 2020, bereaved families were absolutely distraught when HS2 destroyed a number of trees that had been planted in the Rennie Grove Hospice Wendover Memorial Woodland. In the area where HS2 felled the trees, HS2 are now using diggers to cut a gully through an embankment in Ellesborugh Road (pictured) where they are redirecting utilities. Rubble from the HS2 works is also scattered beneath some of the remaining memorial trees.
