On top of page 346is a cabinet in marque -terie and with ormolumounts, beautifully chased and gilt. At thebottom left-hand corneris a commode in mahog-any and sycamore,with geometrical inlayin lighter woods, greymarble top, and mountsof chased ormolu. Ithas two drawers. It isstamped P. Dcnizot,the mounts being pro-bably by Gouthiere,and is of the period ofLouis XVI.
