"Chow Down" for Seven War Babies. It's mess call for the seven new puppies, pride of the crew of Coast Guard-manned assault transport somewhere in the South Pacific. "Sougee," mongrel mascot of the ship's gunners, is the mommie; "Smokey," mascot for the black gang, was the daddy in this wartime romance. "Smokey," fell through an open hatch and broke his head, shortly after he learned he was the father of seven (count 'em) septuplets. Meanwhile, "Sougee" takes care of the chow line.
