Mr. Bostock, to whose candidature the delay of the election was a distinct advantage, kept up an active personal canvass nearly the whole of the time, with the result, which surprised friend and foe alike, that he was elected by the large majority limation of the public than ever before, and the com- munity is looking forward to see the young member make a record in his representative capacity highly honorable to himself and advantageous to his con- stituency.
