Col. Michael Schultz, 926th Wing commander, gives a mission briefing to children participating in Operation HERO April 6, 2019, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Operation HERO allowed nearly 100 children of 926th Wing reservists to participate in a simulated deployment line to learn what it is like for their parents to deploy. The event featured a mission briefing, candy from each station and an obstacle course.
