A Bell Boeing V22 Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft with the US Marines, takes off from Naval Air Facility Atsugi in Yamato, Kanagawa, Japan. The Osprey is a controversial transport aircraft. With a patchy safety record, it is often the focus of anti-US base and forces in Japan especially Okinawa. It is a rare visitor to this Atsugi Base.
