Hay's Galleria, on south bank of the river Thames London

Hay's Galleria, on south bank of the river Thames, opposite the Tower of London. Formerly an enclosed dock, built in 1856 by Sir William Cubitt and originally known as Hay's Wharf after its owner, merchant Alexander Hay. Late 1980s dock was filled in and roofed over (glazing reminiscent of railway stations) to designs by Twigg Brown Architects, as part of redevlopment of London Bridge City.
